Do you feel caged by societal conditionings? Are you a victim of society’s rules of morality?
Many people live in society with a deep hatred or anger towards the way how things are presented in life. They forget that they can create their own reality since they are the source of everything around them, instead they go on lamenting their fate and blame everything except themselves. They carry such bitterness towards life which creates suffering every moment and goes on attracting people with the same negative energy towards them.
One important thing that I’ve learned in the process of reclaiming my freedom as a conscious being is the ability to go beyond the clutches of society. To get back to your presence and inner peace, you need to understand the delusions and hypocrisy of society and rise above these layers of illusion which are clouding your ability to see things clearly. I have the fortune of receiving the guidance of a living master who not only gives me clarity but also the courage to transcend the societal conditionings.
I woke up this morning with a feeling of lightness in the body and within a few steps even before I could reach the bathroom, the topic for this week’s article was heard in my inner space. The words came as a reply from my request last night when I sat with myself. Though the answer didn’t come immediately during the meditation, I trusted that it would come at the right moment. In that passiveness, I fell into a vast space of silence such that the space just filled me completely. The next thing I realised was that I disappeared into that space and then relaxing into the deep sleep state.
It has been 21 days since I got back from Shivoham Inner Awakening in Cambodia, a mystical spiritual retreat conducted by Paramahamsa Nithyananda which completely changed my space and life. Not just living my regular life as a householder but also many other aspects are starting to shift with this cognition of living with this truth of Shivoham.
Two weeks ago, I started a regular meditation class every Thursday evening, something new I am sharing with the world in 2015 after having taught yoga classes for 13 years. I felt that the time has come for me to move into the more subtle dimension of spirituality i.e. a rediscovery of our true nature, Ananda (bliss). Ananda is not joy or pleasure, it is that tranquil silent state which we experience when we have gone beyond both pain and pleasure. In short, it is the state in which both pain and pleasure have ceased to affect us.
From my experience, there are a few important understandings which can smoothen one’s journey in experimenting with meditation.
