Life has no failures only lessons

I wrapped up the year of 2018 feeling so relieved and grateful for having completed a year of tumultuous ride and drastic change in many aspects of my life. There were certain things which I had put off for a while, they were getting fulfilled as the timing was right and my inner space was ready. I’ve also experienced that there are no failures in life, there are only life lessons to be learned designed to make us wiser, stronger and more resilient. Just like a diamond getting polished to its sparkling radiance, I felt that I was getting polished by the Cosmos last year.

So, what were my lessons last year?

Ability to trust before I jump!

This year after my return from the last retreat in India with my Guru – Paramahamsa Nithyananda (fondly known as Swamiji), it felt like so many things had happened in my life in the last 10 months! From losing the financial security to deciding to move on to a totally new life with a complete unknown in the future, the only thing that gave me the courage and strength to keep going was the trust in my Guru as I took the jump into the path of unknown in my life. To tell you honestly, to take the jump into the unknown requires tremendous courage. Without trust, it is impossible to take that leap of faith. Whenever there is even a slightest doubt, be very clear, we will never take the jump and even if we were to take the jump, it will not be total. If the jump is not total, we will only be badly bruised!

I discovered that once I had taken the jump, wherever I landed would be the right place. All these trials and tribulations that I underwent were nothing but tests from life and the surgery I meant to go through as part of the metamorphosis in becoming Sadashiva (Super Consciousness).

Experiencing Yoga as a passive feminine expression

Two weekends ago, I conducted a 2.5-day Yoga workshop titled ‘Tune Your Body’ for a small group of ladies who came all the way from Hong Kong and Vietnam. For the first time, I am opening up the way Yoga practice has resonated within me as an expression of divine feminine consciousness. In my early days of Yoga Teachers training, I was trained to connect to the ontogenetic evolution (from infancy to adulthood) and phylogenetic evolution of human species (from amoeba to a 2-legged human) by the founder of this science, her name is Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen from Body Mind Centering. She wrote a book called ‘Sensing, Feeling and Action’ using different human developmental patterns to awaken the innate connection of the body-mind system. This knowledge has been the foundation the way how I apply to bodywork in Yoga. Interestingly, I also mapped this knowledge with the powerful cognitions which I was initiated by my Guru, His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda (fondly known as Swamiji) in last December in a program called Mahasadashivoham.  This time I also used the science of Sounds Healing by tuning the frequency of individuals. The outcome was a very pheromonal experience of a return to the space of silence and the depth of being.
