New insights to surrender

Surrender is the romance between you and Life, which results in dropping your pseudo identity.

The Sanskrit “Ishwara Pranidhanat” is translated in English as “surrender to God”, but it does not mean human being is lower and should bow down to the authority of the universe.  “Ishwara” – Brahman, Light of lights, means True Self at the same time.  You do not bow down to any authority, but to your True Self – the very YOU.

When you think Ishwara (Existence), do you feel it is too far to be able to touch it? Too vast to behold? Too difficult to understand or grasp?

Authentic trust is the essence

Do you trust your mind more than Existence? Do you believe your future possibilities more than your past failures?

For some people, trust comes easily without much struggle, but for some, trust can be an enormously frightening word to them due to some past hangovers. Your ability to trust life and take a leap of faith into the Unknown is the biggest test in life. The truth is without trust, we can never surrender the cunning mind.

On Labour Day 1st May, I conducted a workshop in Singapore on the subject of Bhakti Yoga – Dasa Bhava (relating with Divine as leader), to a group of devotees of His Divine Holiness, Bhagawan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam (fondly known as Swamiji).
