Completion brings compassion and inner peace in a child

Last evening, my 15- years-old son came to share with me about an incident which disturbed his inner space as he felt certain heaviness in his heart. This incident happened yesterday afternoon, he went for a Geography team project discussion with a couple of boys from his school. After the project meeting, the three boys decided to visit the games arcade in the shopping mall for some entertainment.

The moment one of his friends, namely Yee tried to show off his skills by taking out a special professional member card to start the game machine, my son immediately recognized it was his card which he had lost 4 months ago. Through his awakened third eye, he saw that his friend stole his card and he had to confront him. Yee immediately lied by saying it was his card as he had earned it using his playing skills. My son, with ferociousness, took the card away from him and Yee tried to snatch it away. In the struggle, my son cornered him to speak the truth! Finally, he admitted that the card belonged to my son but then came the second lie, he said that my son left it in the machine the last time they played together. My son was clear that this didn’t happen and again pushed him to speak the truth. Finally, out came the truth – Yee stole the card from my son’s wallet as they used to sit next to each other in the class. Seeing my son’s ferociousness, finally Yee apologised to my son for stealing his card. My son, after having satisfied with the truth, decided to give that card to his friend and then left him.

What gets recorded by Cosmos?

Do you know what gets recorded by Cosmos?

Here is a beautiful story in the Mahabharata about a courtesan and a monk by His Divine Holiness, Paramahamsa Nithyananda who is a living incarnation (fondly known as Swamiji).

There was a monk who lived across a courtesan’s house. He used to keep a count of the number of men coming to her house and used to imagine all kinds of things about her lifestyle. The courtesan was a great devotee of Lord Krishna, an Avatar. She spent all her free time praying to Lord Krishna to redeem her from her miserable life. Whenever she saw the monk, she would pay her respects from a distance.

Get out of Apasmara – Forgetfulness

If you were to distil all the suffering of humanity to one key reason, do you know what would it be?

I’ve discovered that it is the problem of forgetfulness (Apasmara in Sanskrit). When I first heard this word in 2012 from my Guru who is a living Avatar, his name is called Paramahamsa Nithyananda (fondly known as Swamiji), I didn’t quite grasp its meaning fully. It was only when I started to cognize it myself in my life and recently after having worked with many seekers that I began to understand the illusion (Maya) of forgetfulness. Be it sickness to health, depression to enlightenment, poverty to wealth, business failures to success, leaving spiritual seeking or going through the ups and downs of life, the root cause of these struggles in us is forgetfulness of our original state, space and powers as the Super consciousness, Paramashiva.

In Vedic tradition, Smaranath means liberation. Right remembrance liberates, Smaranath Mukthi. The remembrance of the right powerful cognitions is all that we need to bring liberation. One such powerful cognition that I learned from Swamiji is life is a continuous rhythm.

Here’s a small story!
