Be a space holder for your child’s possibilities

Would you encourage your child to explore the innate intelligence and extraordinary powers?

It saddens me when I see many parents who are terrified of the unknown and their child’s higher possibilities due to their own ignorance that they stop their child/children from the process of self-discovery.

Here’s a true story.

A young girl who is suffering from a lot pressure and stress from parents, schools and peers, she has started to develop certain developmental difficulties as she becomes withdrawn and lacks self confidence. Literally she is like a little bird caged by the conditioning of parents, society and the educational system. When she came to have a private tuition session with a disciple of my Guru, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (fondly known as Swamiji), they decided to play and casually explore the power of third eye even though she was not initiated by Swamiji. The devotee was able to hold a powerful space of possibilities for her to discover her innate intelligence and powers. She was able to read blindfolded just by entangling with an initiated disciple of Swamiji. That’s amazing phenomenon.

In the breathing space of a living avatar

How many people get to spend 3 months in the breathing space of a living incarnation (avatar)?

I am one of the 92 blessed beings from a database of 17,000 devotees specially handpicked by my Guru, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (fondly known as Swamiji) to be part of this 3-month program called Nithyananda Yogam. This program was designed by Swamiji to give the participants a glimpse of the mystical yet divine experience he had with his Guru, Arunagiri Yogeswhara (an incarnation of Lord Shiva) at the age of 9. The space of deep love and devotion in a casual setting which he revered with Arunagiri Yogeswhara, Swamiji is opening up this sweet space for us to have a taste of this unique Guru-disciple relationship. Literally we get to live with him in his breathing space in his courtyard called Adikaranandi in this campus. I belong to the second batch of Nithyananda Yogam called Navaratri batch since the program started before the celebration of Navaratri (9 nights of celebrating Cosmic Mother).

The Story of Our Mind

In June 2009, I attended my first Inner Awakening program with a living incarnation, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (fondly known as Swamiji) after having left my corporate life for good. I remembered he narrated an incident from his wandering days and I would like to share this incident because it will help us understand our mind better.

“When I was wandering in the villages of Northern India, I had often noticed the villagers using a novel trap to catch birds. They would suspend a stick horizontally from the branch of a tree. The stick will be hanging from the tree by a rope tied around its middle, that’s all. This stick is the trap for the birds.

You must be wondering – how a stick can trap a bird?
