Conscious Seeing Through Third Eye

Seeing is a fundamental aspect of life. Even with the blind people, they continue to ‘see’ in their inner space. The truth is, whether we are blind or have the physical eyes, we continue to see through our inner eyes. Seeing is life, life is nothing but seeing. However, seeing with the 3rd eye (Agna chakra) is conscious seeing.

The science of opening the 3rd eye is a unique contribution of the Vedic tradition. If you see all the Hindu gods and goddesses, you will see them with 3 eyes. It means that only if your 3rd eye is awakened, you can become a God. For Hindus, the possibility of opening the 3rd eye exists because they keep the bindi or kum kum (processed turmeric powder) on the 3rd eye, which awakens it.

Release Guilt Awaken Intelligence

Guilt – the very word itself carries so much heaviness.

I was reminded of a real incident which happened to an American lady who had a tumour at the end of her spinal cord for 20 years. She came for healing from my master as the tumour had reappeared after a surgery.

When he started talking to her and tracing back to the origin of the problem, she started weeping because she was a sexually abused victim at a young age. That guilt stayed with her and she started to hate that part of her body by turning the hatred towards that person towards her own body. After going through a cathartic meditation technique consciously, she was healed within 10 days!  The tumour never came back!

From this incident, we can see how guilt plays a major role in most of our ailments because it blocks our energy flow and causes psychological disturbances and diseases. Guilt is like a wedge inserted into our inner space, it retards our growth and puts us into a vicious cycle of misery and suffering.

Pain is a Great Teacher

Two weeks ago, I started introducing the topic of pain to the eN-Vidyalaya children (age from 4 to 14 y.o), a programme which I volunteer every Sunday as a part of my mission work. In the first lesson, we did an experiment by getting the kids to touch a hot water bag filled with hot water. Basically they were asked to focus on the pain and made it go away. The children initially felt the intense pain from the heat of hot water and withdrew from it immediately. When they were told to bring awareness to their fingers in contact with hot water bag without removing their fingers, they were able to feel the heat at first, then slowly they realised that the pain actually went from intense to rather unnoticeable or enjoyable.  From this simple yet powerful exercise, the children learned that their mind could actually change the perception of any physical pain just by bringing in awareness.

Pain is such an interesting topic because it is a subject that everyone can relate to in life regardless of age. Do you know that the most frightening thing in the world is PAIN? People don’t fear death as much as they fear the pain and agony at the time of death. We may be afraid of poverty, relationship problems or diseases, but if we look deeply the root cause of all these fears, it is the pain that happens while going through these experiences. All these fears are because of the fear of pain.
