Last Sunday, I celebrated my birthday in a Vedic style with the children of Nithyananda Bala Vidyalaya, a weekend program for children (age range from 4-14 y.o.) which I have been teaching since June 2011. Frankly, I wouldn’t want to spend my birthday in other typical ways except to be surrounded by kids.
I have been listening to the great truths of Ishavasya Upanishad by a living master, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (fondly known as Swamiji) since Janunary 2015. This morning I just had an epiphany after having been contemplating, internalising and debating about some of the subtler truths about Eesha, Pure Consciousness!
What are Upanishads?
Since January 2015, I have been soaking in the profound sacred knowledge of Upanishads (literally means sitting at the feet of master), which is the highest truth about consciousness through the daily satsang of Paramahamsa Nithyananda (fondly known as Swamiji). Many powerful truths were revealed about consciousness (Eesha).
In the first verse of Ishavasya Upanishad, it declares: Eeshaavaasyamidham Sarvam Yathkincha Jagathyaam Jagath – meaning “Everything is Consciousness, the whole thing is filled with consciousness and intelligence”.
