Spread my wings and soar

In life, we go through phases of expansion – whether it is in different life stages, career moves or spiritual growth. Every time we expand we are moving towards life because life is all about continuous expansion. The moment we have a shrinking feeling or resistance towards life, be very clear, we start moving towards death.

This feeling of readiness to take off, to soar to the sky came after I attended a 3-month program called Nithyananda Yogam program and Sadashivoham 2016, 21-day yoga and spiritual retreat in Bangalore with my Guru, Paramahamsa Nithyananda – a living Avatar (fondly known as Swamiji)! The master had given the disciples like me so many initiations during the 3 months of living around him in his breathing space. The energy and shaktis (powers) that he awakened in me has started to sprout like a sapling from a seed.

The first visible expression is the incorporation of a second company called Space of Purity and Awareness (SPA) but this time it is happening in Hong Kong. This expansion came after I started coaching a group pf new aspiring spiritual entrepreneurs in February using Swamiji’s teaching and my own experiences. During the coaching, the Hong Kong devotees decided to band together to start a venture in offering the world with the different creative talents that each one of us came down with in our bio-memory. This is time it has a very different spin as compared to my first company – Other Ways of Learning which I started eight years ago. At that time, it was mainly for the purpose of sharing my gifts with humanity such as science of yoga and healing.

Be the Ultimate Gambler in Life

I was reminded of a discourse given by my master, Paramahamsa Nithyananda, he once said that: “An ordinary gambler requires 3 qualities – courage to start, the power to proceed or execute and the energy to let go.”

We all know that courage is necessary to understand the laws of gambling since it involves probable loss of huge sums of money, possessions and name and fame. The attitude of a gambler should be: If it goes it goes, if it comes it comes. There is no sure-win in gambling, in fact, the chance of losing your stake is higher than winning.

Once you have the courage to overcome this fear of loss, you need the power to execute with the play and stake what is necessary. The outcome being uncertain, you need the energy to let go and accept regardless of the positive or negative outcome. You understand clearly that it requires energy to let go both the extremes of the possible outcome.

Marriage with Hostility

Have you ever felt that there are times when your life is filled with hostilities?

Hostility means when we are constantly threatened from life situations which make feel us suffocated. Hostilities can come from our parents, in-laws, siblings, spouse, children, organizations or communities.

In my life, I grew up with a hot-tempered and violent mother and constantly I lived in fear and low self esteem during my growing-up years. Many times I used to wonder – why did I take birth through her, someone who was so filled with anger and violence?

It was only after listening to one particular discourse which was delivered by Paramahamsa Nithyananda, my spiritual guru that gave me a big click and it changed the way I respond to hostility.
