Time to boost your immunity

Do you know why it is so important to have a strong immunity system?

See, you are aware that people with low immunity are very susceptible to viruses and infections, especially during this period of Coronavirus pandemic. Hence, strengthening of our immunity protects us from the transmission of not just coronavirus but also future new viruses. Next, you should know that the health industry does not talk much about boosting of immunity. Why? This is because there is no money to be made! Giving life to a depressed teenager

About nine months ago, one of my yoga students shared with me about her troubled teenage daughter who had lost interest in life and withdrawn herself into her own cocoon. She would choose to engage with her mother as and when she felt like it depending on to her moods. She had stopped attending school for about one year due to lack of passion and depression.

Her mother had wanted to bring her to see me for private counselling but it didn’t happen earlier because of deep incompletion in their relationship. Her daughter had a lot of anger and incompletion with her mother. Naturally, she wouldn’t listen to her mother’s suggestion as she had seen a psychiatrist which it didn’t work for her, let alone coming to see her yoga teacher. The good thing was I had worked on the incompletion of her mother about one year ago so she was in a better space to relate with her daughter.

Experiencing Yoga as a passive feminine expression

Two weekends ago, I conducted a 2.5-day Yoga workshop titled ‘Tune Your Body’ for a small group of ladies who came all the way from Hong Kong and Vietnam. For the first time, I am opening up the way Yoga practice has resonated within me as an expression of divine feminine consciousness. In my early days of Yoga Teachers training, I was trained to connect to the ontogenetic evolution (from infancy to adulthood) and phylogenetic evolution of human species (from amoeba to a 2-legged human) by the founder of this science, her name is Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen from Body Mind Centering. She wrote a book called ‘Sensing, Feeling and Action’ using different human developmental patterns to awaken the innate connection of the body-mind system. This knowledge has been the foundation the way how I apply to bodywork in Yoga. Interestingly, I also mapped this knowledge with the powerful cognitions which I was initiated by my Guru, His Divine Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda (fondly known as Swamiji) in last December in a program called Mahasadashivoham.  This time I also used the science of Sounds Healing by tuning the frequency of individuals. The outcome was a very pheromonal experience of a return to the space of silence and the depth of being.
